Neri Zilber writes for The Atlantic about an editorial mistake in The New York Times that characterized the pensions of Palestinians who carry out attacks against Israelis as as an example of “‘far-right conspiracy programming’ peddled on [Facebook].” In fact, those payments are real—but their size and to whom they are paid complicates the truth, Neri writes. He was a fellow of the institute in Israel in 2011-2013.
