Former fellow Onyinye Edeh (Nigeria, 2016-2018) starts her new role as Associate at the Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) Secretariat in Washington DC. She will work with 18 Anglophone African countries to advance the FP2020 goal of providing access to family planning services and commodities to 120 million more women and girls by 2020. The Secretariat is hosted by the United Nations Foundation and works with governments, civil society, multilateral organizations, donors, the private sector and research and development community to advance its mission. Onyinye will be responsible for providing programmatic and administrative support to country teams and cultivating relationships with country focal personnel and stakeholders.
